We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Lecturer in Maths to join our team at Sparsholt College! This is an exciting opportunity for someone who is passionate about teaching maths and who wants to make a difference to learners’ confidence, progress and achievement.
What we’re looking for:
We’re looking for a motivated student-centred leader who is passionate about Maths education and committed to helping learners achieve their full potential. The post holder will have an enthusiasm and passion for teaching GCSE/Functional Skills maths classes at our Sparsholt campus. The candidate will be IT literate and have a recognised teaching qualification, or willingness to attain one for which support will be given. We encourage and accept applications from graduates. It is desirable, but not essential, that the post holder has a specialist qualification at level 4 or above in Maths.
You should have:
- A minimum of a grade 4/C in English and maths at GCSE level (or equivalent)
- A genuine passion for teaching, mentoring, and inspiring students
- Strong communication and organisational skills
- It is desirable if you have experience in working with young people or learners in an educational setting
