Are you passionate about supporting young people and helping them thrive? If so, we are offering a great opportunity within our multi‑disciplinary service, based in our modern wellbeing hub. We are committed to providing outstanding support for our students to help them overcome the challenges of modern life that prevent them from engaging fully with their learning. From providing mindfulness activities and specialist support groups to bespoke support delivered 1:1, the wellbeing team tailors its responses to the ever‑changing demands of our student community.
Under the direction of the Head of Wellbeing and working with wider colleagues from faculty and learning support services, you will provide a point of contact for staff and students alike for safeguarding and wellbeing matters. You will deliver support and information to students who are struggling in order to remove barriers that are preventing them from getting the most out of their learning. Wellbeing practitioners deliver brief solution‑focused interventions to students who present in crisis. In addition, they deliver 1:1 sessions, small group workshops and bespoke support to students.
