As the initial contact point of the college, you will deliver a courteous and efficient counter and phone service to external customers, students, and staff.
The role entails operating digital phones/switchboard, a central radio system, a postal franking machine along with using various databases and maintaining manual and electronic records. Full training will be provided.
The successful applicant will:
• Have demonstrable experience of working in a busy frontline environment.
• Possess a strong customer focus along with a “can-do” attitude.
• Have excellent communication skills.
• Be competent in the use of the full range of Microsoft applications (word/excel/outlook and calendar)
• Have good organisation and team-working skills.
• Possess GCSE English and Maths at level C/4 or above or equivalent.
We require a degree of flexibility from the successful candidate who can offer additional hours to cover planned annual leave and sickness.
We have one post available for 22 hours over 3 days per week, 52 weeks per year.
This post is based at the Sparsholt campus.
