We are excited to be delivering engineering for the first time at our Andover campus from September. We are looking for an innovative and passionate individual to support the teaching of the Engineering T-level. The College has recently embarked on substantial investment in this area and the successful candidate will be able to develop a curriculum that enables learners to develop the skills needed to become successful in the industry and support the government's initiative of addressing skills gaps throughout the economy. We are happy to receive applications from those with different areas of specialism such as mechanical or electrical.
Whilst you do not have to have a formal teaching qualification or teaching experience to apply for this role you do need to have:
- A willingness to attain a teaching and assessing qualification. Courses are run in-house by the College.
- An interest and passion to interact with and develop young people.
If you are looking to make a career change, and move into teaching, we will fully support you to be successful by offering you time to undertake the course and 100% financial support towards the cost of the course. This can be fully discussed at interview along with the terms and conditions which apply. We require all academic staff to hold a teaching qualification so that along with our extensive range of annual continuous professional development staff are able to provide students with an outstanding learning experience.
