We are looking for a proactive and motivated Industry Placement Officer to join our dedicated team, specifically to support students to access high-quality industry placements that enhance their skills, confidence, and career prospects. This is a highly rewarding role where you will work directly with students and employers to ensure meaningful work placement opportunities that align with study programmes and industry needs.
About the role:
- Build and maintain strong relationships with Construction employers to secure placement opportunities
- Prepare students for the workplace, helping them develop confidence and employability skills
- Support and monitor students during their placements, ensuring a positive and productive experience
- Track progress against placement targets and contribute to continuous improvement
You will have an office base at our Sparsholt campus with the Industry Placement team but you will work predominantly out of Andover campus with students there, with regular visits to employer sites.
About you:
- Is passionate about supporting young people to succeed
- Is a confident communicator with the ability to quickly build relationships with employers and students
- Is highly organised, with strong administrative and IT skills
- Is target-driven and able to work to deadlines
- Is educated to GCSE level (or equivalent) in English and Maths (Grade 4/C or above)
- Has a full UK driving licence holder with access to a vehicle
Desirable:
- Has experience working in Construction, employer engagement, recruitment, or work-based learning
