The Imaging Applications Specialist will work within the EMEAI commercial team, providing expert application support to our sales teams, channel partners and customers across Europe, the Middle East and India, with a primary focus on Europe. The successful candidate will play a key role in demonstrating and supporting Oxford Instruments' advanced imaging portfolio while working closely with sales, service and marketing teams.
Sales territory covered: Europe, Middle East and India (primarily Europe)
The Imaging Applications Specialist will have:
- A degree in Physics, Chemistry or Life Sciences
- Industrial experience of at least 2 years, 5 years is desirable
- Practical experience working with advanced imaging techniques
- Experience with SWIR, visible and X-ray imaging detectors
- Strong knowledge of light microscopy techniques
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- A willingness to travel internationally as required
Key responsibilities will include:
- Planning and delivering high-quality demonstrations and application work
- Supporting customer training, workshops, webinars and hands-on sessions
- Creating application-focused marketing content such as blogs and application notes
- Supporting prototype testing and providing customer feedback to internal stakeholders
- Collaborating with sales managers, application specialists, service engineers and marketing teams
- Gathering market intelligence and identifying opportunities for product enhancement
This position is based in Germany, France or the UK with a home office base.
