The primary role of the Regional Sales Engineer is to develop new business for Imaris 3D/4D advance image analysis software by providing information on the product and solutions to customers' key endpoints. The successful candidate will work with researchers in leading universities and industry to advance their image analysis capability and understanding of their area of interest. The Regional Sales Engineer will combine application and market knowledge and existing contacts in the microscopy community with sales skills to build a strong territory presence within the UK region.
The Regional Sales Engineer will have:
- Master's degree in life science or equivalent experience in a life science discipline
- 3 years' experience of confocal microscopy sales
- Extensive research/laboratory experience OR significant experience using fluorescence microscopy for biological research
This position is based from home in the UK with business travel to customers at least 50% of the time with a total of 30% overnight travel. International travel also required. Please note on this occasion we are unable to provide sponsorship for visa applicants for this particular post, as such applicants must hold the right to work in the UK and travel freely throughout UK and Europe to be eligible.
