We are hiring for an FPGA Design Engineer who will have a technical curiosity for digital signal processing to join our Engineering team and work on a variety of scientific camera and systems projects. Reporting to our FPGA Engineering Team Lead, the FPGA Engineer will take a key role in FPGA development activities for key projects working as part of a team of cross-functional engineers.
The FPGA Design Engineer will have:
- Bachelors degree in an engineering discipline with experience in FPGA and/or embedded software engineering
- Studied VLSI, Digital Design, or Embedded Systems during the course
- Good programming skills in Verilog, System Verilog or VHDL
- Experience using EDA tools such as Questasim or Vivado Simulator
- Experience in FPGA development tools such as Quartus Prime for Altera or AMD Vivado/Vitis
- Familiarity with DSPs, Microcontrollers, and assembly language
This position is based at our Belfast headquarters on a hybrid working model.
