In this Contract Business Analyst role, you will specialise in CPQ and complex product catalogues, connecting commercial, pricing and technical delivery teams. You will translate intricate pricing rules and product structures into actionable requirements for Salesforce CPQ and EPC projects. You lead discovery with Product, Sales and Finance, map current and future catalogues, and define user stories and acceptance criteria. You’ll collaborate with developers and QA to ensure accurate pricing calculations and product rules, delivering measurable business impact.
Responsibilities
- Lead discovery sessions with Product, Sales and Finance to document pricing rules, product structures and contract requirements.
- Analyse and map As-Is/To-Be product catalogues including bundles, hierarchies and tiered pricing.
- Translate complex requirements into user stories and acceptance criteria with Given/When/Then.
- Collaborate with developers and technical teams delivering Salesforce CPQ and EPC solutions.
- Coordinate UAT and testing with QA to validate pricing calculations and product constraints.
- Bridge between commercial stakeholders and technical delivery teams to ensure clear understanding of requirements.
Key requirements
- 3+ years as a Business Analyst with complex product and pricing catalogues in enterprise systems.
- Strong understanding of CPQ, pricing logic, product hierarchies, bundles and discount structures.
- Experience configuring or managing Enterprise Product Catalogues.
- Salesforce CPQ+ and/or Salesforce EPC experience is highly desirable.
- Experience translating requirements into user stories and acceptance criteria.
- Strong UAT, testing and requirements management experience.
- Excellent communication across commercial, product and technical teams.
- Experience in Energy, Utilities or Telecoms with complex pricing structures (valued).
