Our client is a high-growth, private equity-backed business in the Testing, Inspection, Certification, and Compliance (TICC) sector. With a rapidly expanding pipeline of acquisitions, they are looking for an M&A Manager to support the delivery of their ambitious buy-and-build strategy.
Reporting directly to the Head of M&A, this role offers the chance to be at the heart of a fast-paced deal environment. You will be responsible for executing acquisitions from origination to integration, working closely with senior stakeholders, advisors, and the private equity sponsor. Given the increasing volume of transactions, the business needs someone who can hit the ground running.
Key Responsibilities- Manage the end-to-end M&A process, including valuation, due diligence, contract negotiations, and deal structuring.
- Support the Head of M&A in overseeing a growing pipeline of live transactions, ensuring efficient progress and execution.
- Conduct financial modelling, valuation analysis, and strategic fit assessments for potential acquisitions.
- Liaise with internal teams, external advisors, and sellers to ensure smooth deal execution and post-deal integration.
- Identify and assess potential acquisition targets in line with the company's strategic objectives.
- Strong experience in M&A, ideally within TICC, business services, or a similar PE-backed environment.
- A proven track record of executing transactions, including due diligence, financial modelling, and valuation.
- Excellent stakeholder management skills, with the ability to engage at all levels.
- Highly organised, able to manage multiple transactions simultaneously in a fast-moving environment.
- ACA, CFA, or equivalent qualification is advantageous but not essential.
