A leading European growth equity firm is seeking to hire an Investment Associate to join its London-based investment team. The firm backs exceptional founders and management teams across high-growth enterprise software and B2B technology sectors, investing in category leaders that are reshaping how businesses operate. With a strong record of scaling profitable, capital-efficient software businesses, the firm combines deep sector expertise with a hands‑on, partnership‑led investment approach.

This role offers the chance to join a dynamic, high‑performing team that operates at the intersection of technology, growth, and private equity. The Associate will play a key role across the full investment lifecycle, from origination through to execution and portfolio value creation, gaining significant exposure to senior leadership and decision‑making early on.

Responsibilities

• Support all aspects of deal execution, including detailed financial modelling, valuation analysis, due diligence, and preparation of investment materials.
• Conduct thematic and company‑level research across enterprise software verticals such as SaaS, cybersecurity, infrastructure software, and workflow automation.
• Assist in identifying new investment opportunities through proactive sourcing, market mapping, and relationship building with founders and advisers.
• Contribute to portfolio management through strategic analysis, operational performance tracking, and value‑creation initiatives.
• Collaborate closely with the broader team to refine investment theses and drive internal discussions.

Candidate Profile

• 1.5–3.5 years’ experience in investment banking (M&A technology/TMT coverage) or within a leading private equity or growth equity platform with exposure to enterprise software.
• Strong technical skills, with proven ability in financial modelling, valuation, and transaction execution.
• Demonstrated interest in enterprise software and B2B technology, with an understanding of recurring revenue models and the dynamics of scaling SaaS businesses.
• Highly analytical with sound commercial judgement and attention to detail.
• Proactive, collaborative, and comfortable working in a fast‑moving entrepreneurial environment.
• Excellent academic credentials from a leading university.
