We are currently partnering with a leading global infrastructure investment platform on the hire of two Investment Associates into its London-based investment team. Widely regarded as one of the premier infrastructure investors globally, the firm manages tens of billions in assets and has an exceptional long-term track record investing across large-scale, complex infrastructure opportunities worldwide. The platform invests across a broad range of sectors including energy transition, renewables, power, utilities, transport, digital infrastructure and other essential infrastructure verticals.
The London team sits at the centre of the firm’s European investment activities and offers Associates the opportunity to work on some of the most high-profile and sophisticated infrastructure transactions in the market. Key Responsibilities
- Support the evaluation and execution of large-cap infrastructure investments across Europe and broader international markets
- Build and maintain detailed financial models including operating models, valuation analyses and transaction structures
- Conduct commercial, strategic and financial analysis across potential investment opportunities
- Participate in all stages of the transaction lifecycle including due diligence, financing processes, structuring and execution
- Prepare investment committee papers, internal memoranda and presentation materials for senior stakeholders
- Work closely with management teams, advisers, lenders and external counterparties throughout live transactions
- Support ongoing portfolio monitoring, asset management and value creation initiatives across existing investments
- Collaborate closely with senior investment professionals within a highly analytical and fast-paced team environment
Candidate Profile
- 2–4 years of experience within infrastructure M&A, investment banking, project finance, infrastructure private equity or a related investment environment
- Strong technical skillset with advanced financial modelling and valuation capabilities
- Prior exposure to infrastructure, energy, utilities, renewables, transport or digital infrastructure sectors preferred
- Outstanding analytical ability and strong commercial judgement
- Excellent academic credentials from a leading university
- Highly driven, intellectually curious and capable of operating within a demanding investment environment
- Strong communication skills and ability to interact confidently with senior stakeholders internally and externally
