We are currently looking to add additional high-calibre Guitar Sales Consultants to work in our Sales and Service team, who are fully focussed on delivering pre and post-sale advice to our online customers. We are looking for someone who understands our customers and can help them find the perfect solution to their needs. You must possess excellent product and brand knowledge of acoustic, electric, bass guitars, and amps. You will need a desire to consistently deliver a high standard of customer service. To be fully effective in this role, you will also need to demonstrate excellent time management and organisational skills.
Key Tasks
- Knowledge of the Guitar history/heritage of the main brands.
- Knowledge of the construction and features of Guitars.
- Able to explain the differences between the brands and help our customers by giving great independent advice relevant to the customer’s requirements.
- Able to identify the features and benefits that are relevant to the customer over the phone and via email.
Key Skills
- The ability to absorb new information readily and easily and be able to pass this information on to others.
- Customer service experience, ideally in a retail environment or similar or within the music equipment sector.
- The communication skills to converse, build relationships and interact with individuals, customers, and staff at all levels. Special focus on telephone and written communication.
- The ability to react to challenges while remaining calm.
- The confidence and organisational skills to control all aspects of a busy sales environment.
- Previous experience in retail sales or similar environments preferred.
- Attention to detail and the ability to work quickly and accurately.
- Computer literate (especially MS Outlook and Excel).
Contract Type: Part Time
Working Hours: 9am-6pm Saturday, 10.45-5pm Sunday
Salary: £12.60 per hour
