Are you passionate about guitars, with a keen eye for detail and a desire to work with some of the world’s most prestigious music brands? Based at our Guildford warehouse, we are recruiting a team of QC technicians who will be available to check and set up in-bound guitars which have arrived direct from factory.
As a first-line QC Technician, you will be responsible for thoroughly inspecting, testing, and setting up a wide range of guitars, both electric and acoustic, either as part of the inbound QC process or completing our comprehensive pre-delivery inspection checks for our customer orders. You will also be required to test amplifiers, pedals, and other related products.
Key Responsibilities- Performing thorough Quality Control inspections and functional checks of inbound guitars, identifying and resolving any defects where and when required.
- Setting up electric, acoustic, and bass guitars for optimum playability and ensuring they meet and adhere to set standards.
- Product testing as required for relevant outbound customer orders.
- A positive, team player with excellent personal time management and communication skills.
- A high level of attention to detail and quality assurance.
- Ability to work efficiently to tight deadlines.
- A keen passion for all things guitar and good product knowledge.
- Suitable guitar-playing ability.
- Working Hours: Full-time positions are 5 days per week, part-time roles can vary and be discussed at interview.
- Salary: £12.60 per hour.
- Job Location: Andertons Warehouse, Guildford Unit 7 Cobbett Park Guildford Surrey GU1 1RU.
