We are seeking an ambitious and technically strong Building Surveyor / Project Manager to join our Preston Office within an established and growing team. This role offers flexibility depending on the candidate's aspirations - whether that’s team leadership, client management or business development. The successful candidate will work closely with Richard Chandler (Team Leader) supporting him on both project and professional work, whilst helping to mentor three junior surveyors. We’re keeping the level open - this could suit a nearly or recently Chartered Surveyor, a Senior Building Surveyor or an Associate Director looking for their next step. There is a clear short-term progression opportunity to Team Leader level for the right person.
Key Priorities
- Technical Delivery: Deliver a broad range of building surveying commissions with a focus on dilapidations, pre-acquisition surveys and professional services, while also contributing to project work across industrial, office, retail and independent living sectors. Support the existing Team Leader in managing workflow and project delivery. Mentor and develop three surveyors, helping to build capability and confidence with the team. Opportunity to progress to a Team Leader role in the near future, with management responsibility and client leadership.
