DAIRY FARM MANAGER / PROSPECTIVE CONTRACT FARMER Spring Calving Dairy Unit North Cornwall An outstanding opportunity has arisen for an experienced and ambitious dairy farmer to join an established and profitable dairy business in North Cornwall - with a clear and structured pathway from employed management into a full contract farming / equity agreement. The business operates a 350-cow spring calving, low-input, grazing-based system (with potential to increase numbers) - with a proven and efficient model delivering strong returns. The milk contract is with Arla. The role offers genuine long-term security and the opportunity for the right individual to steadily build equity within a well-run dairy business. The Role The position will commence as a Farm Manager, with a move to a formal joint venture agreement as the next step. This will include a profit share arrangement, together with equity options for the future. The business also encompasses several other dairy enterprises, and the successful candidate will work closely with these - providing variety, professional development, and further opportunities as the relationship develops. A new house is currently under construction on the farm, providing excellent modern accommodation from the outset. The Candidate We are looking for an individual or couple who can demonstrate: Solid, hands-on dairy experience - ideally within a spring calving and/or grazing-based systems. Strong stockmanship and a genuine enthusiasm for low-input pastoral dairying. Commercial awareness and the drive to build something over the long term. Good communication skills and the ability to work as part of a wider business team. A sense of ownership and commitment for the long term.
