HOMECARE COORDINATOR – GLASGOW – FULL TIME – £29,000 BASIC SALARY + BENEFITS Our client is a well-established, independent family-run home care provider with over 30 years of experience delivering high-quality care within the local community.

As the organisation continues to grow, they are looking to appoint an experienced Homecare Coordinator to support the Care Manager with the day-to-day coordination and effective operation of the care service.

The Role As Homecare Coordinator, you will play an important role in ensuring the smooth running of the service and the delivery of high-quality care to service users.

Key Responsibilities Coordinate the day-to-day running of the homecare service, including care plans, staff schedules and rotas.

Coordinate and support care staff to ensure appropriate levels of cover are maintained.

Monitor the quality of care provided and carry out regular reviews and evaluations.

Assist with the development, implementation and review of service policies and procedures.

Support the Care Manager with the preparation for inspections, audits and external visits.

Ensure recommendations, instructions and actions are followed through effectively.

Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with GDPR and relevant legislation.

Assist with monitoring staff performance, training and compliance.

Respond to operational issues and provide support to care staff when required.

Participate in the rotational on-call service, with additional payment provided for on-call duties.

Support the Care Manager with the overall management and development of the service.

Work from the company's Glasgow Southside head office, with travel as required.

Essential Experience & Qualifications The successful candidate must have previous experience in a care coordination, senior care or supervisory role within a homecare/social care environment.

You will also require: Appropriate registration with the SSSC.

SVQ Level 4 in Social Care or be working towards this qualification.

Proven experience coordinating care staff, rotas and schedules.

Previous experience working within a regulated care environment.

Full UK driving licence and access to your own vehicle – essential.

Good knowledge of care plans, compliance and quality standards.

Health & Safety, First Aid, Food Hygiene and Moving & Handling training.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Good verbal and written English.

Good IT skills, including Microsoft Word, Outlook and Microsoft Office.

Ideally living in or within a commutable distance of Glasgow.
