They are seeking an experienced Senior Residential Support Worker to join their dedicated team. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Residential Support Worker looking to progress into a senior role, or an existing Senior Residential Support Worker seeking a new challenge within a supportive organisation.
The Role
As a Senior Residential Support Worker, you’ll play a key role in supporting the Registered Manager and Deputy Manager with the day-to-day running of the home while leading shifts and providing guidance to the wider care team. Your responsibilities will include:
- Leading shifts to ensure the delivery of safe, high-quality, child-centred care.
- Acting as a role model and providing day-to-day support, coaching and guidance to Residential Support Workers.
- Building positive, trusting relationships with children and young people.
- Supporting the implementation of care plans, risk assessments and behaviour support plans.
