They are looking to appoint an experienced Deputy Manager to support the Registered Manager in the leadership and day-to-day operation of a children's residential home. The Role
Working alongside the Registered Manager, you will help ensure the home delivers exceptional, child-centred care while maintaining compliance with Ofsted regulations and the Children’s Homes (England) Regulations 2015. Your key responsibilities will include:
- Supporting the overall management and leadership of the home.
- Deputising for the Registered Manager in their absence.
- Leading, motivating and developing a team of Residential Support Workers.
- Promoting a nurturing, therapeutic and relationship-based approach to care.
- Ensuring safeguarding and the welfare of children remain the highest priority.
- Overseeing care planning, risk assessments, behaviour support and other related tasks.
