The predicted salary is between 36000 - 60000 £ per year.

The role would primarily be based in our Edinburgh office, working with Carole Tomlinson and Martin Campbell and other members of the team as required. The work would involve all aspects of private client work. We would also support you through the STEP qualification if this has not already been obtained.

  • Meeting clients and advising on wills and powers of attorney, drafting these and arranging for execution of these documents.
  • Succession, asset protection and tax planning advice.
  • Trusts and drafting these trusts and ongoing advice on trust administration and winding up of trusts.
  • Some exposure to Executry administration.
  • Participating in the business development initiatives of the department and the firm.
  • Supporting Knowledge Management for the department and involvement in new technical solutions for our bigger private clients.

What you’ll need to succeed:

  • 1-2 years PQE, with a strong interest in private client work.
  • A proactive approach to problem-solving and strong client care skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
