Are you an ambitious employment solicitor looking to make a great career move? We are looking for a talented and motivated individual to join our thriving Employment, Immigration and Pension (EIP) team, based in our Glasgow office. Our EIP team are one of the largest and most experienced teams in Scotland, but act for clients across the United Kingdom and beyond.

We have 5 lawyers accredited as specialists in employment law with the Law Society of Scotland, one accredited in discrimination law and one Signet Accredited, as well as 2 certified mediators. We act for a range of employers including UK and Scottish Government Departments and Agencies and large multinational businesses through to small businesses managing their own employees.

The role involves supporting our commercial clients with general employment law guidance but also you will be acting for employees, both in the Employment Tribunal and in relation to settlement agreements. • Conducting legal research
  • Advocacy at Employment Tribunals and Employment Appeal Tribunals
  • Drafting non-contentious documentation such as contracts of employment, policies, etc.

  • Assisting other departments in relation to non-contentious matters such as TUPE warranties and indemnities on the sale
