We are looking for a talented/motivated individual to join our thriving Marketing & BD team.
This is an exciting role for a Digital Marketing Executive, suitable for someone with a marketing or relevant degree with 2-3 years' experience.
The role
Anderson Strathern’s Marketing & BD team delivers strategic marketing campaigns and targeted BD activities across the business and this role is vital in supporting the delivery of day to day digital marketing.
You’ll be responsible for a wide range of digital marketing activities, in particular SEO, PPC, Website maintenance and development, analytics reporting, lead generation, Hub Spot and newsletters as well as using data to support and inform decision making.
- What you’ll be responsible for
- Building, testing and sending Hub Spot emails, newsletters and event communications, including segmentation, automation, list management and performance reporting.
- Supporting integrated digital campaigns across PPC, SEO, email, website and Hub Spot, with a focus on improving visibility, engagement and enquiry generation.
- Supporting the delivery of the firm’s SEO activity, including keyword research, on-page optimisation, content updates, technical checks and performance reporting.
- Maintaining and updating website content through the firm’s CMS, including service pages, campaign landing pages, forms, tracking links and digital assets.
- Collating and interpreting analytics across multiple platforms such as GA4, Google Search Console, SEMrush and Hub Spot.
- Website content management and assisting in the development of all things digital.
- Preparing regular digital performance reports, drawing insight from GA4, Google Search Console, SEMrush, Hub Spot and other platforms to identify trends and opportunities.
- General duties to support the marketing and business development team and its initiatives when required.
- What you'll need to succeed
- To be successful in this role you must be a self-starter and highly organised with a solid grounding in all things digital marketing. You’ll have:
- Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple deadlines across campaigns, emails, website updates and reporting.
- High standards across design, accuracy, functionality and user experience.
- Excellent attention to detail, particularly when working with web pages, email templates, data, forms and campaign assets.
- A good understanding of digital marketing channels including SEO, PPC, email marketing, websites, CRM and analytics.
- The ability to interpret data and turn it into clear, practical insight.
- Confidence to contribute ideas and challenge constructively in team discussions.
- Good writing and editing skills, with the ability to adapt content for digital channels.
- A creative and resourceful approach to supporting campaigns, content and business development activity.
- The ability to build positive working relationships with colleagues, suppliers and stakeholders across the firm.
About you
- Experience in a marketing or digital marketing role, ideally within a professional services, B2B or corporate environment.
- Experience using CMS, CRM, email marketing, analytics, SEO and PPC tools.
- Familiarity with platforms such as Word Press, Hub Spot, GA4, Google Search Console, Google Ads, SEMrush and Adobe Creative Suite would be beneficial.
- Good understanding of SEO principles, including keyword research, on-page optimisation and content performance.
- Experience building or updating website pages, landing pages, forms or email templates.
- Strong writing, proofreading and editing skills.
- Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
- Strong visual judgement and an understanding of brand consistency across digital channels.
