Telford Region
Our client based in Telford is a fast-growing commercial insurance company specialising in Motor, fleet and Haulage products. They are looking to recruit for an Account Handler to join their growing team. The suitable candidate will preferably have previous Insurance and sales experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Calculating and delivering renewal and new business premiums to brokers.
- Telephoning/liaising with brokers: Prior to their clients’ renewals to obtain relevant pre-renewal information and fact finds.
- Obtain relevant information and fact find/s to negotiate and secure new business.
- Cross-selling policies the brokers clients do not currently have.
- Processing mid-term adjustments for existing live clients/policies.
- Initiate and build ongoing relationships with brokers.
Requirements:
- Previous Insurance experience is advantageous.
- Previous Sales experience.
- Excellent written and verbal skills.
- Comfortable making sales calls.
- Database management.
Benefits:
- 25 days holidays + Bank Holidays.
