Technical Advisor £26,000 – £32,000 Oswestry An exciting new opportunity to join the UK’s leading business in their sector involved at the front end of technology. The successful applicant will be trained to play an active part in the provision of technical support to internal stakeholders and external customers. Key Duties: * Developing an in-depth knowledge of the company product range. * Developing core electrical skills and knowledge for supporting the companies’ wide range of products. * Developing ICT skills to support your understanding of IoT technologies. * Develop a strong understanding of legislative frameworks that impact on the markets that the company serve. * Record, analyse and communicate data at the appropriate level using the organisation’s standard tools and processes to all stakeholders within the responsibility of the job role. * Work with colleagues across all teams in providing first class service to all stakeholders. * Timely accurate response to technical queries to meet company objectives and support the sales team in driving business growth and profitability. * Accurately able to deliver technical content to both internal stakeholders and customers. Key Skills and experience required * Must have clean (or near clean) driving licence. * Interested in Technology, and IoT development opportunities. * Able to prioritise and work to deadlines and other time pressures. * Organised and methodical with high levels of attention to detail. * A good communicator, able to digest and relay technical information verbally and in writing. * Commitment to maintaining high standards of quality and accuracy in all work. * Ability to deliver and receive feedback to colleagues. * Must be an excellent face-to-face and telephone communicator. * Ability to effectively diagnose and resolve technical problems. * Able to demonstrate experience of working in a customer focused environment and working closely in a team or standing alone. * Ability to present technical content. * To be able to demonstrate theoretical and diagnostic skills. * To build an in depth understanding of our product range and the current legislation that determines their application and use in the markets we serve. * To work across all internal and external departments in the development of end-to-end technical specification support requirements. * Products testing and research. * Undertake regular project work.
