Stafford - Hybrid/Office-based 3/2 days
Weβre looking for a detail-driven Contracts & Revenue Analyst to play a key role in how we manage customer contracts, billing, and stock performance. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys combining accurate data management with commercial analysis that genuinely influences decisions. The successful candidate will have excellent Excel and Power BI skills, having worked within data analysis and administration roles previously.
Youβll sit at the heart of Operations, Sales and Finance β owning contract data end-to-end and turning it into clear insights on revenue, utilisation and profitability.
Duties to include:
- Contract & Billing Management
- Set up and maintain customer contracts accurately across our 3 systems.
- Manage contract resigns, uplifts and contract changes, ensuring terms, rates and dates are always correct.
- Process off-hire notices, final billing and credits, working closely with Operations to coordinate collections.
- Run monthly billing cycles, applying rate changes and completing checks to ensure clean, accurate invoicing.
- Reporting, Forecasting & Analysis
- Design & Produce month-end revenue reporting and stock status reports.
- Forecast revenue and stock levels based on known hires, off-hires and sales pipeline data.
- Analyse profitability by asset and customer, utilisation rates and guaranteed revenue.
- Build and maintain Excel models that support commercial and operational decision-making.
- Continuous Improvement
- Identify data issues, process gaps and reporting improvements.
- Proactively suggest and implement better controls, workflows and reporting tools.
Skills required:
Essential
- Advanced Excel skills (PivotTables, XLOOKUP/INDEX-MATCH, SUMIFS, structured tables; Power Query a bonus).
- Power BI experience is essential and SQL skills will be advantageous.
- Strong analytical ability β comfortable turning data into meaningful insight.
- High attention to detail with a focus on data accuracy.
- Experience working across multiple systems (CRM, stock/asset systems, finance systems).
- Well organised, able to manage deadlines and month-end cycles.
- Experience producing KPI packs and financial forecasts a bonus.
