This role combines hands-on content creation with broader marketing responsibilities, ensuring that high-quality, story-led content supports wider business objectives and positions the company as a leading authority in its sector.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the planning and delivery of integrated marketing campaigns.
- Create, manage, and optimise content across LinkedIn, YouTube, the website, and email marketing, ensuring it is tailored to each platform and audience.
- Translate technical product information into clear, engaging, buyer-facing content, including case studies, FAQs, and sector insights.
- Plan, produce, and repurpose high-quality content for use across multiple channels including web, email, brochures, and events.
- Capture and edit video content to a commercial standard (e.g. long-form video, short clips, stills, and campaign visuals).
- Write compelling copy, captions, and narratives.
- Monitor and report on content and campaign performance, using insights to improve engagement and effectiveness.
- Maintain organised libraries of marketing assets, ensuring consistency with brand guidelines and efficient content reuse.
- Collaborate with internal teams to align marketing activity with product launches, sector priorities, and commercial goals.
Essential Experience
- Experience in a marketing and/or content-focused role, ideally within B2B or technical sectors.
- Strong skills in content creation, videography, editing, photography, and visual asset production.
- Working knowledge of LinkedIn, YouTube, email marketing, and how content should be adapted by platform.
- Ability to take content and campaign ideas from concept through to publish-ready output with minimal supervision.
- Competence with Adobe Creative Cloud or equivalent design and editing tools.
- Understanding of how content supports broader marketing objectives including lead generation and brand positioning.
- A portfolio demonstrating strong visual judgement, editing pace, and storytelling ability.
- UK driving licence and willingness to travel to project sites and events.
Highly Desirable
- Experience in manufacturing, construction, healthcare, public sector, or specification-led marketing.
- Confidence working with technical products or within regulated/sensitive environments.
- Experience extracting multiple assets from a single shoot (e.g. hero video, shorts, stills, quote cards, website visuals).
- Understanding of SEO, analytics tools, and marketing performance tracking.
- Knowledge of how content supports search visibility, AI discovery, and lead generation rather than awareness alone.
