Reading / Hybrid – Flexible Working

£55,000 - £60,000 plus commission

Our client based in the south-east are looking for a Key Account Manager to join their team. The successful candidate will be responsible for driving customer satisfaction and business growth through strong relationship management. You will serve as their primary point of contact, addressing customer needs and collaborating with internal teams to deliver exceptional service.

Key Account Manager Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with existing customers.
  • Respond to and address their enquiries and concerns promptly and efficiently.
  • Arrange regular customer account reviews and advise the most effective approach to achieve their goals, challenges and expectations.
  • Develop relationship and communication plans for each account.
  • Identify opportunities for upselling or cross selling additional products or services, expansion and other contract opportunities.
  • Create revenue generation plans for each account.
  • Ensure our customers have realistic expectations, and they are clear on what we can deliver, and when we can deliver it.
  • Manage contract negotiations and renewals with existing customers and ensure contracts are up to date and accurate.

Key Account Manager Skills and Experience:

  • 3 years+ experience with Microsoft Dynamics Business Central, or another ERP or subscription-based software solution in a customer facing, account manager or equivalent role.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Commercially minded with the ability to see potential sales opportunities.
  • Experience in building strong relationships.
  • Time management skills are necessary to handle a number of customer accounts.
  • Ability to prioritise and resolve problems.
  • Solid IT skills including proficiency with common software applications.
