We are looking for a skilled and motivated Home Improvements Sales & Design Specialist to join a growing home improvements business. This is a fantastic B2C retail role, selling high-quality, UK-made products, with the opportunity to manage projects from start to finish.
Responsibilities of the Home Improvements Sales & Design Specialist:
- Respond to incoming leads, with the majority coming from customer referrals – all leads are generated for you.
- Qualify each lead to understand client needs and schedule site visits.
- Conduct site visits Monday to Friday between 9am and 5pm – no evenings or weekends.
- Measure and survey client spaces (training provided) and discuss options to meet their requirements.
- Prepare quotes and follow up to secure projects.
- Manage projects from inception to completion, liaising with clients and fitters, and resolving any issues.
Skills and Requirements for the Home Improvements Sales & Design Specialist:
- Previous experience in home improvement sales or related design and installation solutions.
- Strong communication and selling skills, both on the phone and during on-site visits.
- Full driving license and own car required (long-term option for a company vehicle).
- Willingness to travel across the West Midlands, Shropshire, Warwickshire, and Staffordshire.
- Comfortable spending 60% of your time in the office and 40% on site.
- Detail-oriented, methodical, and eager to learn how to use a measuring laser.
This is an excellent opportunity for work-life balance: Monday to Friday, 9am–5:30pm, with no evenings or weekends.
