A prestigious family-owned company based in Cannock is looking for a Business Development Executive to join its well-established team. This exciting role is office based and would suit candidates with a background in packaging or FMCG.
Key Responsibilities
- Research prospect companies to create warm leads
- Book meetings with decision makers using Telemarketing, emails, social media etc
- Attend initial appointments where necessary
- Attend Trade shows and exhibitions and follow up generated leads
- Attend regional drop-ins and networking events
- Execute direct marketing campaigns to decision makers
- Maintain the database and prospect pipeline to achieve sales targets
Experience required
- Previous experience in a similar sales role
- Experience of the packaging for FMCG sector would be desirable
- Ability to deal with people professionally at all levels via telephone, face to face and email
- Excellent IT skills
- Ability to work as a team and an individual
- Target driven
