My well-established client based in rural Shropshire is looking to recruit an experienced Content Creator to join its successful and expanding business. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who is looking for a career move with a fast-paced business that delivers measurable results. Due to the rural location of this company, own transport is essential.

Essential Skills and Experience required:

  • Previous experience in a similar role, ideally from a material handling or engineering background
  • Own transport essential due to location
  • The ability to write and think creatively and quickly
  • Significant experience in writing strong copy that is grammatically correct
  • A flexible approach and willingness to adapt ideas to the needs of clients
  • Able to work to strict deadlines and under pressure to manage workloads effectively
  • Possess excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Work well in a team or individually
  • Good organisational skills and an eye for detail
  • Strong research skills
  • IT and Microsoft Office literate

Key duties and responsibilities:

  • Meeting with account executives to discuss clients' requirements and core messages, and understanding what they are seeking to express and translating into written content
  • Writing copy to engage the reader, modifying until the client is satisfied, and managing their expectations
  • Generating creative ideas to build innovative campaigns
  • Discussing ideas and concepts with other members of the creative team
  • Presenting ideas to account/sales managers
  • Developing and maintaining relationships with key editors
  • Familiarising yourself with the product, target audience, and competitor activities in the market
