We are a growing business supplying the housing sector in various projects from newbuild sites to large BTR schemes and are looking for a commercially driven Sales & Estimating Executive to join our team. This role will most likely be 3 days office-based and up to 2 days on site across the UK most weeks. The successful candidate will play a key role in tendering, pricing, sales, account management, and business development as well as conducting site surveys, helping to grow both existing and new client relationships while ensuring accurate and competitive pricing across a range of projects from a small developer to 700 units schemes.
Having a Commercial background within the construction sector, either main contractor or subcontractor background, knowledge of the industry is essential. The person will be a key individual in the business working closely with the Operations Manager in developing the Contracting division whilst having a wide role of responsibility within the Company.
The Role:
- Write and submit professional tenders and bids within deadlines.
- Pricing large-scale orders and projects.
- Carrying out site surveys (up to 2 days per week).
- Managing existing client accounts.
- Support the wider sales strategy through lead generation, follow-up, and pipeline management.
- Developing new business and promoting company services.
- Maintain accurate commercial records, pricing data, and client information.
About You:
- Experience in estimating, quantity surveying, sales, or account management.
- Commercially aware, organised, and confident communicating with clients.
- Target-driven with a relationship-focused approach.
- Good understanding of construction sites, site procedures, and how commercial projects operate.
- Experience working with tenders, pricing, bids, or large-scale project quotations.
- Confident communicator with the ability to build strong client relationships.
- Organised, detail-focused, and capable of managing multiple bids and clients simultaneously.
- Comfortable working in both office and live site environments.
- Self-motivated with a strong desire to grow sales and develop new business opportunities.
25 days holidays plus bank holidays.
