Purchaser Birmingham £33,000 - £36,000 We're recruiting on behalf of a well-established manufacturing business for a Purchaser to join their Operations team.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone with purchasing experience to play a key role in ensuring materials are ordered, delivered and available to support production schedules.

Working closely with suppliers and internal teams, you'll manage purchasing activities, maintain stock levels and help drive an efficient supply chain.

Purchaser Key Responsibilities Raise and manage purchase orders using an ERP system.

Maintain supplier relationships and monitor delivery performance.

Plan material requirements using MRP.

Review stock levels and re-order points.

Source products, obtain quotations and manage lead times.

Work closely with Stock Control and Goods In teams.

Purchaser Key Skills and Experience Minimum two years' purchasing experience (or a postgraduate qualification in Purchasing/Logistics).

Experience using an ERP system.

Good understanding of MRP and purchasing processes.

Strong communication, organisation and problem-solving skills.

Manufacturing experience is advantageous.
