Our well-established, successful, and constantly developing client is currently looking for an experienced Talent Recruitment Coordinator to join their friendly team in Stroud (Gloucestershire). It is essential for this individual to have previous recruitment/talent acquisition experience, ideally for mechanical or engineering roles.
Flexibility on salary and hours can be offered to ensure getting the right person on board, especially for someone who may be able to start immediately. This is a friendly team, where everyone mucks in to reach common goals including filling roles of varying urgency with the right talent, managing the onboarding process and ensuring a positive candidate experience.
Duties:
- Support HR Advisor and HR Director with all aspects related to the busy recruitment/talent function.
- Manage multiple live vacancies at any one time, ensuring roles are progressed quickly and efficiently.
- Keep internal HR system up to date with all relevant records and information.
- Draft, review and post engaging and informative job adverts across job boards.
- Review CVs, conducting initial screening calls to gather relevant information, forwarding to hiring managers and coordinating interviews when requested.
- Build relationships with hiring managers, managing expectations and providing regular updates on recruitment progress.
- Liaise with PSL recruitment agencies.
- Ensure candidates receive a professional and positive experience throughout the recruitment process.
- Oversee hiring and onboarding processes, including offer letters, contracts, and relevant pre-employment checks.
- Any other ad hoc duties to support the overall talent and HR function.
Experience:
- Previous talent acquisition/recruitment experience is essential (agency or in-house).
- Clear understanding of engineering positions such as CNC, CAD, Mechanical Engineers.
- Able to juggle multiple projects/priorities and deadlines at any one time.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Team player willing to muck in with the team.
Hours: Full or part time (up to you) up to max 37.5h pw (early finish Fridays @ 1:30pm) all hours worked on-site/in-office.
Salary: £28 - 35k+ (Very negotiable for the right individual).
