Our client, an award-winning not-for-profit organisation providing a wide range of training and qualifications to the beauty industry, is currently recruiting for a Membership & Insurance Coordinator to join their team in Gloucester on a part-time permanent basis. You will be responsible for ensuring all insurance requirements are met and properly documented, working closely with external brokers and third-party partners. You will also help grow the business by identifying areas for improvement, acting on concerns, helping the team meet its targets, and finding new opportunities.
The successful candidate will have previous experience in insurance, a creative approach to business development, and a passion for finding new ways to improve customer retention and win new business, along with a keen interest in the beauty industry!
Key responsibilities:
- Complete compliance, audit and reporting requirements, working with external brokers and third-party teams
- Monitor business performance, identify areas for improvement and suggest new ways to grow
- Support the launch of new products, promotions and growth strategies
- Build and maintain strong relationships with insurance brokers and oversight partners
- Identify and report complaints to the board or relevant insurance brokers
- Carry out regular team one-to-ones, using audit feedback to support development
- Monitor team performance and engagement, helping to drive business growth and customer retention
Hours: 20 hours per week across 4/5 days per week (office based)
Salary: From £30,000 (FTE) depending on experience + 25 days holiday (pro rata) + bank holidays
