Our client based in Gloucester, a non-profit organisation supporting mental and physical wellbeing of people in Gloucestershire, has an exciting opportunity for a Facilities Manager to join their ever-growing team. You will be responsible for the management of the buildings across Gloucestershire, ensuring that they are properly maintained, clean and safe.

Responsibilities:

  • Management of the cleaners and caretaker who care for the buildings.
  • Maintain health and safety across all our sites.
  • Maintain the fleet of vehicles ensuring a good safe condition.
  • Liaise with the IT provider to ensure that requirements are met.
  • Assess the IT function and contribute to its future development.
  • Undertake tendering for facilities resources.
  • Maintain an environmental strategy and approach in relation to buildings and vehicles.
  • Liaise with funders, commissioners, and key personnel to manage programmes and projects.
  • Undertake best practice sessions with staff to enable development and continuous improvement.

Candidate Attributes:

  • Excellent organisational and administrative skills
  • Strong communication skills at all levels
  • Computer literate (MS Office)
  • Excellent problem-solving skills

Hours: Monday to Friday, 37.5 hours per week

Salary: £30,000+ 25 days holiday
