Our client, who are global market leaders in their field, are looking for a Finance Assistant to join their friendly team in Ross on Wye (Herefordshire) on a permanent basis. This is a varied role, in which you will support the finance function across a range of accounting, reporting and reconciliation activities, while gaining exposure to budgeting, audit support, month-end processes and financial projects within a successful organisation.

Responsibilities:- Subsidiary accounting, including; salaries, journals, accruals and prepayments, pension, reconciliations, TB, fixed assets and producing monthly accounts
- Subsidiary budgeting
- Financial accounts reconciliations and processes
- Cover of Stock reconciliations
- Financial projects
- Financial accounting general enquiries
- Audit assistance: year-end, interim and statutory audit, HMRC government audits and other audit requirements
- Annual stock check attendance
- Year End reporting and other adhoc reporting requirements
- Previous accounts experience OR finance qualifications
- Reliable, team player
Hours: Monday-Friday: 37.5h hours per week flexible start & finish times + 50/50 hybrid working
Salary: £25,000 - £32,000 + excellent benefits package including:

Please note: Whilst this role can offer hybrid work, it is not able to offer this role as fully remote, therefore candidates will be required to work all hours in-office for the entire duration of the training period, and for at least 50% of their working hours thereafter. With this in mind it is advisable that you check Ross on Wye is within a reasonable commute for you in order to apply.
