Our client in Quedgeley, who has been in operation for over 15 years, is looking for an individual to join their small team on a permanent, full-time basis as the business continues to grow and take on more projects, including the opening of a new manufacturing plant. They provide parts and services for the automotive industry, as well as providing technical training and certification to individuals.
The company has experienced steady growth and is expected to get busier during the summer months. Expansion is anticipated this summer as they continue to build the business and take on additional projects. The team currently consists of seven engineers/staff members, and they are looking to bring someone into their close-knit environment. They have a strong ‘team player’ ethos and are seeking someone friendly and proactive who is willing to roll up their sleeves and support the team wherever needed to ensure an efficient, quality service for their customers.
While the role will predominantly focus on supporting the office, there may occasionally be opportunities to assist with picking and packing orders or loading vans. If desired, the company is also happy to provide forklift training and certification as part of cross-training. Office experience is not necessarily essential and you are not expected to be an industry expert from day one. Training will be provided on the company’s products and services to enable you to assist with technical enquiries, filtering queries and directing them appropriately where required.
- Dealing with incoming enquiries
- Administration of training City & Guilds certifications (with strong attention to detail)
- Inputting information into the internal computer system
- Occasional picking and packing of parts for outgoing orders
- Managing website enquiries and processing online/email sales
- Assisting with the email inbox
- Setting up invoices in Sage
- Assisting with DHL and delivery consignments
- Occasional picking/packing and loading up of vans
Hours: Monday – Friday 8:30am – 5:30pm (1hr lunch) – Fully based in-office
Salary: Flexible: £25,400 - £26,500 – potential negotiation for higher salary for more experienced individuals
