As a Procurement Specialist, your role is to identify cutting-edge products and services that exceed client expectations, secure the most competitive agreements, and ensure a seamless supply chain. You will manage the entire procurement cycle from beginning to end, ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and on-time delivery at every stage. From managing tenders and negotiating supplier terms to maintaining accurate product data and driving supply chain efficiency, you'll be at the heart of it all.

Responsibilities:

  • Identify and procure products and manage high-value tenders within strict deadlines.
  • Carry out regular performance reviews with suppliers.
  • Establish and track KPIs, evaluate performance against agreed SLAs, and negotiate favourable terms to improve cost efficiency and service quality.
  • Assist Business Development Managers and Account Managers with new customer onboarding and applications as required.
  • Maintain accurate product catalogues and ensure efficient order processing.
  • Handle invoice discrepancies and manage product returns promptly and effectively.
  • Monitor and coordinate timely deliveries from assigned suppliers, ensuring internal systems are kept up to date to reflect service levels and stock availability.

Candidate Attributes:

  • Proven procurement experience.
  • Exceptional negotiation and pricing analysis skills.
  • Strong Excel skills.
  • Ability to thrive under pressure with enthusiasm and self-motivation.
  • Excellent attention to detail and proactive approach.
  • CIPS qualification (desirable, not essential).
