Our small yet well-established client, who have ambitious future growth plans, are looking for a motivated and enthusiastic individual to join their fun and family feel team as Accounts Assistant. This is a permanent, full-time opportunity based from their offices in Staunton, Gloucester.
You will be responsible for all day-to-day financial operations as well as assisting with general administration for the wider company. Our client is happy to look at candidates at varying levels however, you must have experience working within a similar accounts position.
Whether you have previous finance experience or hold an accountancy qualification this may be the excellent opportunity to utilise your skills in a new role. To be considered for this role you must have strong attention to detail and a willingness to get stuck in along with a good sense of humour and a love for dogs! Most of all, you must be a team player.
Responsibilities:
-Process invoices, reconcile accounts and manage expense claims.
-Maintain accurate records of financial transactions and ensure all documentation is filed appropriately.
-Support month-end and year-end processes.
-Monitor and manage accounts payable and receivable to ensure timely payments and collections.
-Assist in the preparation of budgets and financial forecasts.
-Liaise with internal departments and external stakeholders to resolve any account-related queries.
-Support the Finance Manager in additional ad hoc projects and administrative tasks as required.
Candidate Attributes:
–Previous experiencein a similar accounts / finance role
-Experience working with Microsoft Office including Excel
-Strong attention to detail
-Ability to get stuck in and work closely alongside other members of the team
-Bubbly personality with ability to speak to people at all levels
Hours: Monday Friday, 8:30am 5pm (flexi time can be offered to start or finish slightly earlier or later)
Salary: Up to £30k per annum depending on experience + free parking
