Their reputation is built on their quality of both product and service, and they are looking for likeminded people to join them on their journey of success. They are currently recruiting for an Accounts Assistant to join their hardworking and motivated team based near Slimbridge, Gloucestershire. You will report to the Finance Director managing all financial aspects of the businesses Irish & French subsidiaries. You will collaborate with our internal teams and global network to efficiently resolve any queries and ensure the accuracy of the accounts. You must be a detail-focused individual with experience and knowledge of managing a variety of accounts. Responsibilities: -Accurate and timely recording of financial transactions to ensure the accounting software is up to date -Handling accounts payable and receivables -Maintaining company ledgers -Multi-currency bank reconciliations -Ensuring all information is entered to allow preparation of month end management accounts -Manage debtor ledger and chase late payers -Process supplier invoices and ensure all are received and entered within a timely manner -Process monthly VAT, VIES and EU reporting requirements -Manage customer and supplier questions to ensure any queries are resolved -Assist the Finance Director with year-end preparation Candidate Attributes: -AAT qualification or qualified by experience - Proficient in Microsoft Office and accounting software -Professional, friendly, and approachable -Strong organisational, planning, and communication skills -High level of accuracy and attention to detail -Motivated with a willingness to learn and improve processes Hours:
