An exciting opportunity to join a warm, close-knit team that genuinely enjoys working together. Our client, who has a niche client base, is currently recruiting for an ambitious individual to join their team on a full-time, permanent basis from their spacious offices in Mitcheldean. The main purpose of this role will be to minimise the company's risk exposure. You will be aware of, identify and mitigate fraud as well as being the first point of contact for customers.
To be considered for this role you must be well organised, influential with your peers and have a great eye for detail, showing determination and willingness to get stuck in. There is always the option for progression with various routes to go down, should you wish to.
Responsibilities:
- Set up and maintain customer and client accounts, completing credit checks and due diligence.
- Ensure customer records, account information and credit limits are accurate and up to date.
- Respond to customer enquiries and manage the shared inbox and incoming documentation.
- Investigate account queries and disputes, working with customers to recover outstanding debts.
- Negotiate payment plans and support debt recovery through to legal action where required.
- Prepare court claims, liquidation paperwork and other documentation in line with company procedures.
- Minimise financial risk while ensuring customers are kept informed throughout the recovery process.
Candidate Attributes:

- Confident with the use of Microsoft Office applications.

- Excellent communication skills.
- Ability to deliver excellent standards of customer service.
Hours: Monday β Friday, 9am - 5pm
Salary: Β£26,500 per annum + company benefits including Company Pension, 22 days holiday plus Bank Holidays (rising with length of service), an additional paid day off for your birthday, optional health insurance and health cash plan, free on-site parking, team incentives and Christmas & summer parties.
