Our client, a well-established and trusted expert within the manufacturing industry based in Cirencester, is currently recruiting for a Payroll and HR Assistant to join their friendly team on a permanent, part-time basis.
Duties:
- Act as a first point of contact for all managers and employees
- Be responsible for all payroll instructions and ensure preparation in time for the weekly and monthly payroll run
- Liaise with HMRC and pension providers regarding submissions and compliance
- Assist with payroll queries and provide reports as needed
- Ensure confidentiality and compliance with GDPR and payroll legislation
- Manage HR functions, including recruitment, training, onboarding, employee welfare and any other HR duties related requirements
- Ensure accurate HR records on all employees as well as assist with HR project work as required
Candidate requirements:
- Previous experience within a similar role
- Positive, pro-active person with a friendly approach
- Ability to use own initiative and take ownership of workload
- Discrete and professional with the ability to understand the sensitivity of information
Salary: up to £35,000 depending on experience, pro rata
Hours: Flexible on hours, approx. 20 hours per week. Monday availability is essential for this role as this is the day payroll is run.
