We are excited to be exclusively partnering with our excellent client in Cheltenham in their search for a full time, permanent Receptionist. You will be working for a well-established and reputable local business that truly values and encourages its employees. This is a fully onsite role, where you will play a key role in being an enthusiastic and professional face of a busy, dynamic office. It’s an exciting time to join, with the company experiencing rapid growth. Staff turnover is low, internal development is actively encouraged, and the benefits are competitive - including 28 days of holiday plus bank holidays.
Responsibilities:
- Serve as the first point of contact for visitors, creating a welcoming and professional reception experience.
- Answer incoming telephone calls promptly, redirecting where appropriate.
- Monitor and respond to general email enquiries, ensuring requests are handled efficiently.
- Issue access passes, and maintain contractor and visitor log book.
- Coordinate meeting room bookings, ensuring rooms are prepared and presented to a high standard before meetings and events.
- Keep meeting spaces stocked with essential supplies such as stationery, refreshments, and presentation materials.
- Order stationery and kitchen supplies, maintaining appropriate stock levels.
- Liaise with external suppliers, contractors, and catering providers to support meetings and company events.
- Receive, sort, distribute and frank incoming and outgoing mail, courier deliveries, and special deliveries across the business.
- Maintain accurate records by updating internal systems and logging documentation as required.
- Carry out routine checks of reception, meeting rooms, and communal areas, reporting maintenance or health and safety concerns where appropriate.
- Provide general administrative support to the wider operations team to ensure the smooth day-to-day running of the office.
