The Reigate Grammar School Family of Schools is a vibrant, values-driven education group committed to providing exceptional learning environments in which young people and communities can flourish. As the organisation continues to grow and evolve, we are now seeking to appoint an outstanding Director of Estates to play a pivotal role in shaping the physical environment that underpins our educational mission.
Reporting to the Group Bursar, as the Director of Estates you will be responsible for the effective delivery of both planned and reactive maintenance across the estate, ensuring robust asset management, full statutory compliance, and consistently high standards across all sites.
You will play a central role in shaping and delivering the Family of Schools' sustainability and carbon reduction strategy, embedding responsible and efficient practices throughout the estate and supporting Reigate Grammar School's commitment to long-term environmental stewardship.
We are seeking a leader with significant experience in estates or facilities management within a complex, multi-site organisation. While experience in education is welcome, it is not essential; more important is an understanding of mission led environments and a genuine commitment to supporting people and purpose.
The successful candidate will be collaborative, values driven, and confident operating at both strategic and operational levels. With strong leadership and communication skills, you will be confident in managing and motivating teams, working constructively with stakeholders at all levels, and resolving issues calmly and effectively under pressure.
