SHEQ Advisor, 50% office, 50% site based. Anderson McQue is partnering with a well-established civil engineering contractor firm to recruit an experienced Safety, Health, Environment & Quality Advisor.
Responsibilities include:
- Ensure all Health & Safety, Environmental and Quality policies, procedures, rules and regulations are regularly reviewed, updated and communicated.
- Conduct safety audits, inspections, and investigations.
- Ensure the completion and regular review of Method Statements and Risk Assessments.
- Ensure that employees, contractors, and site visitors receive site induction.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 2 years relevant experience in a similar Health and Safety role β knowledge of Rail works and or Windfarm works would be beneficial, but not essential.
- NEBOSH (or equivalent) Qualification Certificate β minimum held for at least 2 years.
- Environmental and Quality qualification is advantageous.
- Exposure to and understanding of implementation of ISO 45001, ISO 14001 and ISO 9001.
- Excellent communication and team building skills.
- Well-developed organisation / planning skills.
- Sound IT skills and strong experience including Microsoft packages.
- Must be willing to travel and work away from home on project-by-project basis across Northern Ireland and Republic of Ireland.
- A valid driving licence is essential for travel to site locations.
