Anderson Knight is currently recruiting for a Temporary Part-Time Payroll Administrator to join our client, a well-established organisation within the utilities sector, based in Stirling. This is a great opportunity for an experienced payroll professional looking for a part-time temporary position within a busy and supportive finance team. You will be responsible for assisting with the accurate and timely processing of payroll, ensuring employees are paid correctly and all relevant payroll requirements are met. Key responsibilities will include: * Processing weekly and monthly payrolls accurately and within agreed deadlines. * Handling payroll information for new starters and leavers, including P45s and P60s. * Processing statutory payments including SSP, SMP and SPP. * Managing pension contributions, auto-enrolment and student loan deductions. * Processing earnings arrestments and other payroll deductions. * Ensuring PAYE and National Insurance information is processed correctly. * Responding to payroll queries from employees and resolving issues where possible. * Maintaining accurate payroll records and ensuring all information is kept up to date. * Supporting the wider payroll and finance team with general payroll administration. The successful candidate will ideally have: * Previous experience working within a payroll administration role. * Experience of processing payroll from start to finish. * Good knowledge of PAYE, National Insurance and statutory payments. * An understanding of auto-enrolment and pension administration. * Strong attention to detail and a high level of accuracy. * Excellent organisational and time management skills. * The ability to manage deadlines and work effectively in a busy environment. * Good communication skills and a professional approach. * Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
