Anderson Knight is recruiting an Insurance Manager on behalf of our client in Larbert. This is a great opportunity for an experienced insurance professional to take ownership of a diverse insurance portfolio within a multi-entity organisation in the energy sector. Reporting to senior leadership, you will act as the subject matter expert for all insurance matters, managing policy renewals, overseeing claims, and ensuring effective, compliant coverage across the business. You will work closely with brokers, insurers, and internal teams including HSE, Finance, and Legal & Compliance. You will also support and guide a small team handling claims, ensuring efficient processes and using insights to strengthen risk management.

Salary: £60,000

Working Pattern: Hybrid

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage insurance programmes across multiple classes including Liability, PI, D&O, Property, Motor and specialist covers
  • Lead annual renewals and maintain strong broker and insurer relationships
  • Oversee claims handling, ensuring timely resolution and trend analysis
  • Advise the business on insurance requirements, risks, and coverage improvements
  • Manage insurance budgets in collaboration with Finance
  • Act as the main point of contact for all insurance-related matters
  • Maintain accurate records and produce reports for senior management
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory and internal governance standards

Skills & Experience

  • 5+ years' insurance experience, ideally in a corporate or industrial environment
  • Strong knowledge of key commercial insurance classes
  • Proven experience managing renewals, claims, and broker relationships
  • Experience supporting or leading a team
  • Excellent communication, organisational, and stakeholder management skills

Desirable

  • ACII qualification, multi-site experience, or exposure to risk/HSE processes
