Anderson Knight is recruiting a Helpdesk Operator, based in the Technical Bureau team in the heart of Glasgow. We’re looking for switched-on, motivated individuals to join our clients Technical Bureau team, where you’ll play a key role in supporting some of the UK’s biggest retailers. You’ll be trained to monitor and remotely diagnose issues with Refrigeration, HVAC, and Lighting systems, helping to keep stores running smoothly.

Salary: £29,370.25 per annum

Hours: 37.5 hours per week (Sunday, Monday, Tuesday or Wednesday, Thursday, Friday 7pm - 7am & every third Saturday 7pm - 7am)

What You'll Be Doing:

  • Responding to store alarms and logged faults, performing remote diagnostic checks
  • Helping fix issues remotely or arranging engineer visits when needed
  • Supporting field engineers and store teams via phone and email
  • Triaging faults and identifying root causes to improve efficiency
  • Escalating technical issues as needed and ensuring systems are set to specification
  • Working closely with your team to maintain high service standards
  • Attending training and staying up to date with technical developments

  • Comfortable working across multiple software platforms simultaneously

  • Willingness to work overtime during busy periods (summer, Christmas, etc.)
