Anderson Knight are delighted to be representing our client, who after a period of significant investment from a private equity firm are looking to bring on board a new Qualified Accountant to help champion process improvement and implementation and help support a new Finance team in Glasgow.

This is an exciting opportunity and our client is looking for someone ambitious and enthusiastic to join the team in this critical role.

The main duties and responsibilities will include:

· Support the implementation of new processes and procedures, ensuring efficiency and compliance.

· Provide regular updates to management on project performance, highlighting key trends and opportunities.

· Detailed project analysis

· Provide ad-hoc support to the Finance Manager as required, assisting with a variety of finance-related tasks and initiatives.

· Supporting project budgets, periodic forecasts and cash flow projections

· Preparing and filing quarterly VAT returns

· Involvement in the costing and pricing process

· Adhoc project work

· Reviewing balance sheet and other reconciliations prepared by accounts assistants

The main candidate will be a fully qualified accountant (ACCA/CA/CIMA). You will ensure the integrity of the group’s financial records and maintain the accuracy of financial reporting and provide detailed financial analysis and insights in relation to the project.
