Day to day duties of this role will include:
- Support the finance manager, when necessary, with projects and analysis
- Probe financial performance and provide notes on variances within the budget and forecast
- Adhering to strict deadlines of month end processes
- Cooperate with internal partners to give financial information and analysis
- Assisting with the readying of yearly statutory accounts and tax returns
- Maintaining strict compliance with accounting regulations and practices
- Spot areas for improvement and apply the changes to drive efficiency
The perfect candidate will possess the following key components:
- Studying towards completion of their ACCA/CIMA professional qualifications
- Excellent analytical expertise and the ability to understand and palpate data
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel skills and other accounting software
- Exposure of working in a busy and fast paced team environment and the ability to meet strict deadlines.
